@Kirzner.

As Robot-Doc has mentioned, you will need full Windows 7 or Windows 8 (not the mobile RT version of 8 though) to run ARC successfully. Here are the minimum requirements you will need...

Windows 7 minimum

Intel Pentium or AMD 64 or 32 Bit 1 GHz CPU

2 GB RAM

50 MB Drive space.

As @Doc says, you need a Windows 7 or 8 computer or an Android (to use the android version....). The Chrome OS is not supported....

As Richard and nomad have correctly stated, you can use Andriod too, but you will need the ARC software on a PC first, to create a project. Then if you wanted too ,you can use an Android (and soon an iOS) device to access your project and control your robot.

I currently use Windows 7 on a laptop, and ARC works absolutely fine for me:). Do you have another PC you can download it on to? Also if you have another PC, you could use the ARC http server, then connect to that server through your Acer using it's web browser.
