I'm new to the Synthiam community and am currently exploring the integration of ARC (Autonomous Robot Control) software with commercially available humanoid robots. I've noticed that some companies offer third-party software integration through APIs, especially for AI models like Large Language Models (LLMs). However, I'm curious to understand the real-world challenges associated with such integrations.
Does anyone have experience working with humanoid robots that are compatible with ARC? Are there any known barriers when attempting to control commercially available androids using ARC, particularly in areas such as motor control, speech synthesis, or facial recognition?
If anyone has successfully achieved this integration, I would love to hear about which humanoids were used and what challenges were encountered during the process.
Hi there, welcome to Synthiam. Close to half of the 4 million robots connected to Synthiam ARC are humanoids. This is primarily due to our partners, such as EZ-Robot and Robotis, who sell humanoid robot products that our software supports. Several of those portions are also DIY humanoid robots.

*Note: Take note of the "movement style" section because you will use the Auto Position Movement Panel, which allows you to design the robot's gaits graphically. This is how your robot will learn to walk, do tricks, dance, etc.
