Currently, I use Chat GPT 3.5 and a token based payment for using with my C3PO chatbot. If I upgrade to ChaptGPT 4.0, will the advanced version of the AI work with the Open Chatgpt skill? Will I need to make a new api key as well?
That is probably a question for open ai, they make chat gpt. I know that gpt 4 is already available to the chatgpt skill if you have an open api key. So by observation (Again i'm not part of open ai) i would think getting gpt 4 would be rendundant.
I don't pay for gpt 4 because I use the chatgpt skill set for gpt 4 instead.
PS, dunno if you caught that last bit. But i talk to my ARC ChatGPT robot skill set to gpt4 instead of paying $20 / month for the web version
@DJ Sures, thanks! I did not know you could set it for GPT4. I am paying for GPT3.5 per token message. I assume that works the same.
I will try that out!
There’s even a gpt 4 turbo now as well. On the manual page for the chat gpt robot skill is a link to the list of models.
@athena what do you think?
The OpenAI GPT models, including GPT-4, can indeed be used with the Chatbot GPT robot skill in ARC. If you already have an API key for OpenAI, you can use it with the Chatbot GPT robot skill to access GPT-4, provided your OpenAI account has access to that model.
To use GPT-4 with the Chatbot GPT Robot Skill, you would need to select the appropriate model in the skill's configuration. You can find more information about the Chatbot GPT robot skill and how to configure it on the Synthiam website by visiting the support section or the manual page for the skill.

Remember, the cost and token usage will depend on your agreement with OpenAI, so make sure to review their pricing and terms of service. If you have further questions about the OpenAI service itself, you should reach out to OpenAI's support for the most accurate information.

@DJ Sures, sometimes when C3PO is replying as an AI he might think he hears his wake word (See Three Pee Oh) so he will stop talking and reply to what he thinks he heard. Is there a way to hold off on the microphone input until he is through speaking? How could I configure that in the bing speech skill? Maybe there could be a way to make a variable for when talk servo 2 has stopped moving the servos?
There is a global variable for knowing when the audio is being played - which I believe is also for speech out the EZB. But, if your mic and speaker are close by, it's a good idea to use the wake word. The latest update allows you to fine-tune the minimum confidence so the wake word is best heard accurately.
