A robot that travels on 2 overhead ropes or wires, which allows it to move in any direction. The robot would carry a camera on a pan and tilt system allowing it to capture footage from any angle. Doing a live production of a large area is a pain, but a camera with free movement and remotely operated would allow it to be controlled by the video switch operator and give an extra angle without an extra camera operator. This could also allow the camera to move to pre set positions and provide coverage for moving events.
