To put your EZ-B v4 controller in WiFi client mode using ARC, you'll need to access the EZ-B v4's web server configuration rather than using the ARC directly. The ARC software doesn't include a direct option in the Connection skill for switching the EZ-B v4 between AP (Access Point) mode and Client mode. However, you can easily switch modes by following these steps:

  1. Connect to Your EZ-B v4 in AP Mode: Initially, your EZ-B v4 starts in AP mode, creating its WiFi network. Connect your computer or tablet's WiFi to the EZ-B's network. The network name (SSID) will typically start with "EZ-B v4".

  2. Access the EZ-B v4 Web Server: Open a web browser and navigate to the EZ-B v4's web server by entering http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. This IP address is the default for the EZ-B v4 when in AP mode.

  3. Switch to Client Mode: In the web server interface, look for the WiFi settings section. Here, you can switch the EZ-B v4 to Client mode. You'll need to enter the details of your existing WiFi network (SSID and password) that you want the EZ-B to connect to.

  4. Save and Reboot: After entering your WiFi network details, save the settings. The EZ-B v4 will reboot and attempt to connect to your specified WiFi network in Client mode.

  5. Reconnect to Your Network: Since the EZ-B is now in Client mode, your computer or tablet should reconnect to your regular WiFi network (the same one you configured the EZ-B to connect to).

  6. Find the EZ-B's New IP Address: The EZ-B v4 will now obtain an IP address from your network's router. You can find this new IP address by looking at the connected devices list in your router's admin interface, or you might use a network scanning tool. The EZ-B might also broadcast its IP address over the network, which ARC can detect.

  7. Connect Using ARC: Open ARC and use the Connection skill to connect to the EZ-B v4. Instead of using the default AP mode IP address, enter the new IP address that the EZ-B obtained from your router.

Remember, switching to Client mode means your EZ-B v4 will no longer create its WiFi network. Instead, it will become a device on your existing WiFi network. If you need to switch back to AP mode in the future, you may need to reset the EZ-B v4 to its factory settings or connect to it over your network to access the web server again.
