Hello Nomad_6R!

Great to hear that you have a new PC with Windows 11! Let's address your questions:

Adding New Voices in ARC Speech Settings

To add new voices in ARC, you can use the AudioToolbox Plugin. Here's how you can import UWP voices:

  1. Install the AudioToolbox Plugin: Make sure you have the AudioToolbox plugin installed in your ARC project. You can find it here.

  2. Import UWP Voices: Use the following command in your script to import UWP voices:

    ControlCommand("AudioToolbox Plugin", "ImportUWPVoices");

  3. Select the Voice: Once imported, you can select the new voices in the speech settings of ARC.

Window Position Issue

Regarding the issue with windows changing places when you add a new window in ARC:

  • Save Layout: After arranging your windows, make sure to save the layout. You can do this by going to the top menu and selecting File > Save Project. This should help retain the window positions.

  • Check for Updates: Ensure that you have the latest version of ARC, as updates often include bug fixes and improvements.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

I'm sorry to hear that the save layout feature isn't working as expected. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Check for Updates: Ensure that you have the latest version of ARC installed. Updates often include bug fixes that might resolve your issue. You can check for updates by going to the top menu and selecting Help > Check for Updates.

  2. Reset Layout: Sometimes, resetting the layout can help. You can do this by going to the top menu and selecting View > Reset Layout. After resetting, arrange your windows again and try saving the project.

  3. Run as Administrator: Try running ARC as an administrator. Right-click on the ARC shortcut and select Run as administrator. This can sometimes resolve issues related to saving settings.

  4. Check Permissions: Ensure that the folder where you're saving your project has the necessary write permissions. You can check this by right-clicking on the folder, selecting Properties, and then checking the Security tab.

  5. Test with a New Project: Create a new project, arrange the windows, and try saving it. This can help determine if the issue is specific to your current project.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be helpful to reach out to Synthiam support for further assistance. Let me know if you need any more help!

It sounds like there might be a couple of issues at play here.Lets address the horizontal servo issue first and then revisit the layout problem.### Horizontal servo Issue If your horizontal servo is not staying at 90 degrees and is moving to 0,here are a few things to check:1.Check servo Configuration:Ensure that the servo is configured correctly in ARC.- Open the configuration menu for the Horizontal servo skill by clicking the gear icon.- Verify that the Min and Max values are set correctly and that the default position is set to 90 degrees.2.Check for Conflicting Commands:Ensure no other robot skills or scripts are sending conflicting commands to the servo.- Review any scripts or other skills that might be controlling the servo and ensure they are not setting it to 0.3.Test the Servo:You can manually test the servo to ensure it responds correctly.- Use the Vertical/Horizontal servo skill to manually set the servo to 90 degrees and observe its behavior.### Layout Issue Since the layout issue persists, lets try a different approach:1.Create a New Project:As a test, create a new project and add a few controls.Arrange them and save the project to see if the layout is retained upon reopening.2.Check for Software Conflicts:Ensure no other software might interfere with ARCs ability to save settings, such as antivirus or system optimization tools.3.Contact Support:If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Synthiam support for more in-depth troubleshooting.Provide them with details about your system and the steps youve already taken.### Additional Help If you continue to experience issues, please let me know, and we can explore further troubleshooting steps or alternative solutions.

Yes, the configuration page for the Horizontal servo skill in ARC is where you can set up and adjust the parameters for your servo. Here's a quick guide on what you can do in the configuration page:

  1. Title Field: You can change the name of the Horizontal servo skill here. This is useful for identifying different servos if you have multiple in your project.

  2. Board Index Drop-down: Select the board number that your servo is connected to. This is important if you have multiple EZ-Bs connected.

  3. Port Drop-down: Choose the digital port that your servo is connected to. This tells ARC which port to send commands to.

  4. Minimum Position Adjust: Set the minimum position value for the servo. This is the lowest degree the servo will move to.

  5. Maximum Position Adjust: Set the maximum position value for the servo. This is the highest degree the servo will move to.

  6. Multi servo Edit Window: If you want multiple servos to mirror the movement of the master servo, you can configure that here.

  7. Invert Direction Checkbox: If the servo moves in the opposite direction than expected, you can check this box to invert its movement.

To access this configuration page, click the gear icon on the Horizontal servo skill in your ARC project. Make sure to save your settings after making changes.

If you have any specific questions about configuring your servo or if something isn't working as expected, feel free to ask!
