There's a great blog someone wrote about how labratory robots are deceiving. This is a great example. There clearly aren't enough sensors for the robot to understand the terrain, gap and obsticles. Those are a few clips of a hundred takes, where it finally got it right. Specifically the gap traverse - it was positioned and scripted.
