Vuzix 2016 Compatibility

I've explored the forums for headset info but the answers are not solid and seem outdated.

Is there an up-to-date list of which headsets are compatible with the EZB and ARC? Thanks

I found my old vuzix VR920 today while looking for my kinect power supply in "the big box of old electronics". Connected them up and downloaded VR Manager from here https://www.vuzix.com/support/Download

The driver worked and recognized my glasses perfectly. One challenge is the vuzix controller seems to fire off Pitch (head up and down) and Roll (head tilt left or right) and not yaw (Look left and right). Problem is JD doesn't have a roll servo only a Pitch and Yaw servo. Other than that is great and will be perfect for my telepresence bot.

Check the manual for the control. There is information on how to use the glasses. The jd robot has a head, which has two service for horizontal and vertical. You can connect those servos to the Vuzix glasses. Have fun!

All works well and it is actually really cool (although EZ-Robot app is not very happy in VGA resolution :-) If you get bored and want to add 2 more DOF would be great so we can use the 6 DOF available on Vuzix but I am probably one of the few people (Besides you) who have one of these relics laying around (although I am missing one of the ear plugs).

I have a fatshark dominator 3 that can support 3 Axis head tracking as well. These are fairly common with drone pilots so maybe a good HMD to support but does not seem to be a lot of info documented on interfacing with the Trinity module. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pKzOfopCDY
