Hello,
Making great progress on my wall e....
I purchased a microphone for the pc and cant seem to get voice recognition to work.
I have followed the instructions, set the volumes and levels.....uv meters reads my voice at mid way like Sures intructions show....
i think i have the microphone set up correctly but form some reason the speech box isnt picking up any commands....
its like the mic is on when i test it, but seems to be off when i try to use it within the ARC software.
has any one else had issues with this? has it really been plug and play like everything else.?
i feel like im missing a small step, eyes are tired, ill try again tomorrow.
Right click on your speaker in the system tray
Select Recording Devices
Ensure your new microphone is selected as a Default Recording Device
Then restart ARC
Will do!
damn, it really was that simple.....went through all the steps, but forgot to reset the board.....now when i tell wall e to stick em up.....he reaches for the sky...
haha, youtube video to come.
very cool Hoolagen can't wait to see the video of wall-e auditioning for a new postion in a different Disney movie, lol Toy Story.
i dont know if only was my problem but YOu have to have windows 7 IN ENGLISH!!...... because I had windows 7 in spanish and i couldnt use the speak recognition until I installed windows 7 in english
lol....so no spanish commands?
