Unable To Connect Second Ezboard

I have installed a second EzBoard. It was new, so, as i did for the first board, i have updated the firmware. I have restarted my pc (Windows 8) and in the 'Bluetooth' devices, i found my old 'Ez-Robot' device (com 3 4) and a new device called 'linvor' (com 5 6). Starting Ez Builder software, i select 'com5', but it is impossible to connect. I have tried to select 'com6' and 'com4', but no connection. I can only connect to the first 'Ez-Robot' device on com3 (my first Ez Board).

Can someone help me please?

Thank you.

.....ok, now i think i have made a disaster......

I have removed in 'control panel' the 'linvor' device. I have restarted windows and i have selected 'blutooth device' trying to add a new device. No device is found.

I would want to add the new device, but it is impossible to found this.

Check the bluetooth module is firmly fitted to the EZ-B, they can come loose. They just pull out and are held on with some tape. First try applying some pressure (not too much!), if that doesn't work remove it completely and reattach it.

Does the red light flash? Have you followed the trouble shooting in the tutorials?

After some disinstalling-reinstalling, now, i have: com3= Ez-board1 com4= unused com5= unused com6= Ez-board2

......in tutorial i have read first com is the right com port and second com is for future use. It can be strange, but sometimes it seem to be reverse........

Usually it's the first is the right and the second for future use, but not always (as you have found). That's windows for you:)

Glad you sorted it out.
