I was using the ultrasonic sensor provided with the kit (HC-SR04) and all was working fine. The sensor only displays 20 now I have power cycled the ez-b, restarted the software, and checked the wiring. Looks like there was a single strand coming off the Ground pin going to the Echo pin. Would this cause the sensor to break?
and the 355 is displayed when i change the echo and trigger pins on the computer (tried in an effort to diagnose the problem)
I suspect that poor electrical connections will present themselves as erroneous readings.
355? I thought it only went up to 255?
It could be the electrical connections to the sensor and EZB but it could also be the material it is detecting, ultra sonic can have difficulty with some materials.
