Tracked Base For Large Robot

I just found the plans for this on Ebay for 20 bucks. I think this could easily be adapted for a large scale robot. At least that's what I hope, because I want to try it.

Hi, thou it looks like fun to play with it would not be very stable accelerating fast or stopping quick,

but on the other hand it would make a nice large scale Jonny 5 running gear in the reverse direction.

Another option for a tracked bot would be to use the running gear from a tracked snow blower.
