Text Will Not Show Up When Trying To Type In ARC

Hi all,

I am using the latest version of the EZ- Builder software on windows 10. I have been trying to type commands into the EZ-Script code editor, but no text shows up when I try to type. Its like the application is not accepting key strokes. This doesn't happen in any other programs, only ARC. Tried searching the forum but had no luck finding a related post. Anyone experienced this problem before?

Thanks, Dustin Ozment

  1. Can you please show a screenshot of where you are attempting to type?

  2. What tutorial activity in the learn section is this happening with? Or what episode of The Robot Program does this situation arise?

Thanks!

I was attempting to type in the "source code" tab in RoboScratch workspace, and under the "code tab" in the Blockly workspace. After watching episode 006 of the Robot Program again, I realized I needed to add a script control module and press the configuration gear icon to to gain access to the EZ-Script tab in the Blockly workspace. The problem was simply my own stupidity. Thank you for the quick response.

No problem:) The place you were attempting to enter code is READ ONLY, and displays the translated code of the Robo Scratch project. You will find the same on the Blockly workspace.

When you edit scripts in controls, the EZ-Script tab is editable.

Have fun!:D
