Hello, I've been working on my EZ BoxBot from the tutorials, and have gotten all the way through the videos. However, the tutorials stop after showing how to make the wheels work, and so my robot can't move its head or arms at the moment. I've been trying to set those up, but I'm unsure of what I should be doing. I tried clicking on both "vertical servo" and "horizontal servo" in the servo section of "add controls," but nothing ever happens when I change them...I also tried clicking "auto position movement panel" to see if it would help me out, but it said that only one Movement Panel was allowed per project. Does that mean I can't make the head or arms move if I already have moving wheels? I'm thoroughly confused... confused
For arms and head you need horizontal and vertical servo controls (depending on what it is, pan on the head is horizontal, all others vertical).
You need to set these up to the correct ports where you have attached the servos on the EZB i.e. D10, D11, D18 or whatever.
Movement panel is for control of the robot's drive system. It makes the robot move around forwards, reverse, left and right.
To make the arms and head move you use the servo control mentioned above.
Scripting, as mentioned in the topic subject is something entirely different, this is for running a series of controls, often based on specific conditions.
Thank you so much! I've gotten my head and arms to move correctly now
