Rover From Brookstone

Does anybody have a rover like me and are thinking of a way to make that camera more PTZ than just still where you have to move it by hand, I have the ispy tank also and that camera goes up and down so I am going to work on that if anybody wants to throw their two cents in, your welcome, lol

You may want to look at this project by Robotmaker. He cracked the case and mounted a different camera.

I have a Rover and had a notion of using a tendon system to move the camera, but I never completed the thought. It's such an elegant body design, I just didn't have the heart to modify it.

A bit of an old topic but it was found by the search (and I don't start too many topics if I can help it):)

I just picked up an ispy tank (it was on offer for £30 which isn't a bad price) with the intention of converting to EZ-Robot software and hardware.

Has anyone had any luck with this tank? Not sure if it's the same protocol as the brookstone rover or rover 2 but it would be nice to use it with minimum modification (not that it's a problem to crack it open and throw in a H-Bridge and different camera).
