@Tony.

This doesn't look like a bad bit of kit. Please keep us informed of your opinion when you try it. I'd be interested in what you think of it as a power source and may consider getting one myself. From the specs that are mentioned, what would be your estimated on run time for ALTAIR EZ-1?

Steve, The ALTAIR robots are designed to be very energy efficient, mostly thanks to the Bosch motor servos which give their huge torque and only draw just over 200mA (each) and nearly zero current when in holding position thanks to the worm drive. The Rex locomotion drive motors are also very efficient.

I currently get approx six and a half hours run time (with normal usage) from a 10,000 mAh NIMH battery pack. With this new battery power bank (12,000mAh) I am hoping to get up to around 8 hours run time.

Cool. Sounds pretty sweet. thanks for the info Tony. BTW, I always loved your EZ-1 design and build, but had no idea it was so efficient on energy. Really great job.
