Has anyone ever used OpenBot? How do I use it on my raspberry pi? Does it allow me to control my robot from my pi?

You are going to need a faster computer, probably.
Like a Windows 7,8. Dual and Quad core work well.
You can certainly communicate with your pi by a serial port.
Good Luck.
What does it have to do with the raspberry pi then? I read about it here: http://synthiam.com/Products/ARC
did you downloade it.?maybe you can show some pics here, others can asist you better.
I will be repeating what is on the openBot website, but here goes... It is a C++ library that allows you to control your EZ-B from a raspberry Pi or Linux system.
So, if you are experienced with C++ and Linux, then the OpenBot platform allows you to control your EZ-B from a raspberry Pi or Linux.
What you may be looking for is ARC, which does not require C++ experience and is much easier to use. ARC is a very powerful and easy to use system which the majority of our community uses. The ARC runs on Wnidows 7 or 8 Operating System and also creates projects which can run on Android and iOS (soon).
:) Hope that helps!
Great!
Thanks DJ

I wish the EZ Robot program ran on a linux computer. I don't use Windows. Not quite there as far as being able to write programs either. Kind of at the beginning stages of learning code.
