Omnibot Hbridge:

Hello Everyone,

I wired my HBridge just the way the diagram showed, and I also did it the way the video stated. I then found in a tutorial someone stated if using 2 motors wire it the way the diagram states. The most I got was noises coming from the motors. Nothing moved. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Den

What HBridge are you using? Have you set up the digital ports correctly?

I have the 2.5 amp controller that is sold here in DJ's store. I went through the video and followed how to program it. You'll have to excuse me. I'm a beginner at this.

So when you say set up the digital ports correctly I'm assuming follow the video as DJ shows, unless there is something I'm not doing correctly-obviously!

Thanks, I do appreciate your help.

Do you have a PWM controll added to ARC? You need at least one for each motor and a wire from a at least one digital port to the PWM pin on the motor controller shown in the video. Then you need to set the slider up to at lease 20% when you start the motor from what ever control you've chosen to do that. The higher the PWM setting the higher the speed. If you leave it a close to zero your motor wont move.

You will need to configure both the motor control and the PWM you've added in ARC to what ever digital port you have each wire attached to.

See this thread for more help:

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Yes I have done that. I'll look at the thread you sent, and let you know how I made out.

Nope, I got nothing! The odd thing is I when I plug in the EZ to my power the red light won't com on now, and I can't connect to it.

I was going to walk away at 12:00 in the morning, and decided to give it another try. It worked. I will have some questions, so I'll wait for a reasonable hour!

It's working thanks. Sometimes while I'm working on the robot the motors won't turn so I have to get out of the program then get back in. That's the only issue.
