First and foremost it must be mentioned that you will need a Windows PC to run the ARC software, it cannot run on an iPad or Android. However you can use the HTTP Server to allow control of the Windows PC and ARC through a web browser on any device capable of mobile internet.

Hello Rich, thanks for your answer I am new in that, can I control the system with a laptop over wifi or bluetooth. The idea is to control a camera from about 100 feet away.

WiFi needs the module on the EZ-B changing, which is possible and shouldn't be too difficult (I say shouldn't as I haven't tried it myself yet).

Bluetooth is limited in range, mine (and I think most) has a range of around 10m (33ft) at the best of times.

However, if the laptop is close to the tripod and you have HTTP Server configured you can control it from anywhere in the world over the internet or LAN via a smartphone, iPad, android, PC, etc. (anything with a web browser)

If you connect the laptop to the EZ-B moving the camera, you can connect to the laptop from your Tablet via WIFI and get the 100ft+ range.:)
