sometimes - they can occasionally be recovered. You will find some how-to videos on the internet about recovering li-ion batteries. I cannot provide instructions because ezrobot does not have experience with li-ion batteries. And, ezrobot's advice to anyone with dead li-ion or lipo batteries is to safely discard and replace them. EZ-Robots include battery saver monitor and alarm to prevent users from draining batteries past the specified threshold.
