Inside The Revolution Digital Camera

The decision to take the camera apart is due to the fact that the 6 conductor ribbon cable is too short to allow the camera to be mounted where I need to mount it and I wanted to see how the cable is connected inside the camera. It is nice to know that the cable is equipped with a connector on both ends.

Hey Robot-Doc , in the past when extending wires 2 to 4 foot i used cat5e shielded ethernet cable. It worked well for extending IDE 40 pin hard drive ribbons and lcd display ribbons.
