Hey, I'm a Mechatronics student currently working on a project that involve using the Brookstone Rover. I just started out learning C# recently but I would like to write a program to control the rover. I know that it can easily be done using the builder but I feel like it would be a lot more satisfying if I programmed it using the SDK. I was wondering if there are any project that people have done on just making a simple controller in visual studio using C# or if there are any sample project out there that I can have a look at. Help would be greatly appreciated =)
Also, I only found out about ez-robot when I tried to google how to hack the rover, but I'm really loving the idea of this whole thing and the community seems great! =)
Hi! I can assure you the SDK is created nicely
I'm pretty proud of it - because not only are there a billion examples, but the syntax and function commands are well documented.
If you download the SDK, you will see 50 or so tutorials
Thanks for the community compliments - This is the best place on the net! So many awesome people here to help you - and they've become my friends also!
Ahhh yes, I somehow managed to overlook all those tutorials haha
It indeed does look very nice and neat. =)
I'm really passionate about robots myself as well and I really like what you guys are doing. I feel like ez-robot is a good stepping stone between the Lego robots and the good old Arduino which I feel would be amazing to be used as a teaching tool.
Hopefully I can get my head around how to use the SDK soon. =)
Keep up the good work!
Hello Wil-DOG, You will have a blast when you start mixing the Arduino , lego and other tech with the EZ-B system.
