Help Please With Video Camera

There may be a problem with EZ-B support's email. I have sent this to Contact Us twice in the last 4-5 days but have gotten no response. I don't have a spam filter on the email account I used at my end.

It seems I have the same problem with my video camera as steve3624 and lordhotwing mention on the hardware forum. I don't see a posted resolution to their problem, either.

Neither ARC or any other video capture program I have will show a video feed. They recognize a "Wireless Video Device" is there but only display blank screens.

I did fully charge the camera before trying it. Everything seems to install ok, and it shows up in Win7 under devices.

I have taken the cover off the dongle and reset it. It recognizes my reset and a red led starts blinking for maybe 5 seconds. I have also tried it on two different computers, my desktop and my notebook. The notebook I tried it on does have a built-in camera, and ARC does show that video feed but nothing from the camera I just received.

So with that in mind, I dug out an old wired usb camera and tried it on my desktop PC with ARC. It also works just fine with ARC. So, the one I just received appears to be defective. I would guess it's the camera not the dongle, but there isn't anything further I can try.

Both pieces have matching stickers that say S/N: 2.4GHZ 2012001793 with a date stamp of June 2012.

Please advise how to proceed.

Hello Marv - that's strange two cameras in two months. I looked at Steves the other day and it indeed doesn't work. I asked customer service about your email and we looked, it's Date:8/20/2012 4:04:32 PM, not 4-5 days:) .. They will get back to you - i'm certain :D

I sent a message out by the same method Saturday the 18th, too. That's why I sent another on the 20th. But no big deal, stuff happens out there in the clouds. Just glad to hear customer service is on it.

Thanks, Marv

Hmmm, that's interesting then! We have a contact database to ensure every message has been read and processed. I don't see any contact messages from your email address. Someone will contact you soon:) It'll probably result in the same situation as Steve - send us your camera and we'll replace it.
