Hello Community

Hey! my name is luis and I'm really impressed with your products. I've been interested long time ago to buy a revolution JD. I want to build a biped which imitates the movements of a person. I was thinking to use the camera to recreate the head movements, wii controller for the arms and to make it walk but I wanna know if the JD Bluetooth receiver comes included or I have to buy an special accesory?. What do you recommend for this project? My project goal is to recreate movement.

Welcome... V4 uses WiFi, not Bluetooth... You won't need a bluetooth receiver for JD...

Thank you! The software has a special function to connect the wii controllers or I need something else?

ARC has a built in Wii controller control. It requires Bluetooth. Jd uses wifi.

:( Anyone have an idea how I can recreate the movements of a person in the Jd. Do you think that the camera can help me? Or it is better to change the Jd by other which has Bluetooth.

I haven't looked lately but there are many examples of already scripted projects that you can load into ARC. Download the free ARC software and then click on the open button. It can lead you to the examples section of the cloud. I'm sure there must be a JD example in there. If so you'll just have to tweak it to work for you

I will check the examples section of the cloud, Thank you. Also, I was thinking to send the data of the wii controller vía bluetooth to my computer and then send the information to JD by Wifi. Maybe it is not the most efficient way but I think that can works. Someone did it before or have some advice?
