Generic Error Occurred In Gdi+

Hey,

Just a heads up, I am using Windows 8, new desktop, and I am using the camera QR feature in ARC. Though, I get this "Generic error occured in GDI+" using any of the camera tracking features. After a few hours, I notice that the camera feature in ARC locks up, now all of my scripts still work, including voice reg., but to get the camera feature to work again, I have to close ARC, that is when the error pops up to let me know that a problem had occurred, then open ARC back up, and the camera feature will work again, maybe for a few hours, or more, then locks up again. The camera itself still works with other programs, outside of ARC, even if the camera feature locks up in ARC, but I still tried a different webcam just in case, still the same problem. I attached a picture of the error, and I am using the latest version 2-11-13, but it has been doing this with the previous versions.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure why the error message I uploaded is not showing, It is a JPG, but I'll try a different format.

Interesting. Remove the word ARC from the image filename

I can't fix the problem but I can fix the image:)

Thanks for fixing the image RichMR2. The problem is strange. It will work perfect for a right good while, then the camera feature just locks up, while everything else keeps working. confused

Interesting....

Does it only happen with QR Codes?

How about color, face or glyph?

Can you copy and paste the details from that error message?

I assume clicking in where the text is (the "See the end of this message..." part, pressing Ctrl & A to select all, then Ctrl & C to copy. There is a lot more of the details not shown in the image which I expect would be useful to see and may indicate where the problem lies.

DJ ,

I mainly use the QR tracking, but I changed to the face tracking yesterday, just to try, and left it on overnight, and it was locked up this morning, just like it does with the QR code tracking, but all the other scripts were still working.

I have not tried the color, or glyph tracking though.

Rich, I will try coping, and posting the entire error. I have had the program up since noon, and as soon as it locks up I will be able to copy the error.

The Camera feature just locked up. ARC has been up and in use for about 6 hours.

I have pasted the error below. Hope this helps.....

DJ,

So far so good. I downloaded the latest version 2-17-13 yesterday morning, and I have had ARC up and running since.

Checked on it this morning, and it is still working. The camera feature is not locking up. It seems to be holding up now. I will see how it does over the next couple of days of continuous use.

Thanks again, John
