Quick question.
As the title suggests, what is the maximum project file size that can be saved to the Cloud?
I ask, as I tried to save a project to the Cloud earlier, got the warning that the project is large (reason being I have quite a few sound files) and it says that it is saved, but the project doesn't show up when I look for it. Not overly worried as I can always remove some of the sound files... more curious and could be useful to know in case anyone else asks.
If it accepted it without an error, then it is there. Look in your "My Files" rather than the public list.
Morning DJ.
Thanks for getting back to me. I tried saving it again this morning, both with the project checked as "Public" and un-checked, still not showing up. Project size is 87.6mb. I also looked under both "Public Files" and "My Files, and all of my other projects are showing up, but the recent project is still nowhere to been seen.
I've tried different variations of saving it using different tags, mobile optimized and not, but makes no difference. One thing that does happen, is when I click on the file size link, it throws up an "Unhandled Exception" error...
It's got to be something to do with the project itself, as I just made a new project with a handful of controls, using the same tags, and it saved no problem at all. Could it be that the project is too large?
Okay, so a quick update. I deleted the soundboard from the main project so the project is now 16.5mb. This time it said it saved, and the project did saved this time, so I guess it was that the project was to large (sound files to big. Just noticed one 11 second sound file was 2mb, so going to reduce the tracks size with a music editor and try again later).
So, what actually is the maximum file size that can be saved to the Cloud?
Thanks.
I believe 17mb
Okay, that's good to know.
Thanks DJ.
Steve, this may be a dumb question but why are you saving sound files to the cloud? Can't you keep them on your computer in a different folder? Does this have something to do with the mobile app (which I've never used or tried)?
@Dave
The soundboard EZ-B control embeds the sounds into the control. You can delete the original MP3s and as long as you don't accidentally delete the soundboard control the sound will still be part of the project.

Hey Dave.
What Alan said, lol.
Also, it's a lot easier to update the project with anything heavy like sound files on my laptop, then get it from the cloud to my tablet PC.
Steve just likes to use up our storage server
Lol, who, me? Never.
