I have read several threads and seen the diagram of the Cable to Connect the EZ-B to the Create 2, My question is, I would like to have it powered all of the time and not have it disconnect when charging, I'm sure i would need an inline voltage regulator so that it will not damage the EZ-B, What kind of Regulator has anyone used, and what is the optimal voltage for the EZ-B
Thanks Ahead of time Alain
Here's the tutorial pages from the learn section for the ezb, which has the datasheet: https://synthiam.com/Tutorials/Course/5
The datasheet reads the ezb accepts a maximum of 16 volts
The roomba battery I believe is 14.4v I believe?
The wiring for the roomba to the ezb is here, on the roomba Movement Panel manual page: https://synthiam.com/Tutorials/Help.aspx?id=100
The wiring shows the positive and negative from the roomba. Connect those to the ezb power and you're good to go.
Just remember that the ezb will output the same voltage provided to it (i.e. 14.4v from roomba). So it'll burn out servos and such.
If you need servos or other sensors, a regulator will help: https://synthiam.com/Shop/AccessoriesDetails.aspx?prevCat=103&productNumber=98
Awesome Thanks
