Ez V3 And Ez V4

i am following a instructable for a robot i am going to build and i wondered if the EZ v3 and EZ v4 are compatible with each other (not the greatest wording!) well im wondering if the ports are the same and etc.

Yes, the ports are the same, and the program and functionality is similar, but the use of both is either really difficult now, or not possible. It would be more feasible to have 2 EZ-B V4's. More ports, more power, and better connectivity. Plus there is no issues with having more than 1 ez-b v4 in a robot.

Just know that some specific controls in ARC only work with the first connected ez-b. This just means that you have to plan what your first connected ez-b will be doing, and where to place it.

I interpreted your question differently. I think you are asking if you can follow the same instructable that was written for a V3 with a V4 instead.

Answer is yes. V4 has more ports, the connection is WiFi instead of Bluetooth, so there will be a difference there, and servo positions range from 0 to 180 instead of 0 to 100, so some instructions may need modification.

If you provide the link to the instructable, we can point out any needed modification.
