Closely Related To Robotics.

I do not think that this has been posted before. It is not EZ-B but a similar concept. Who knows, the future of EZ-B might go in this direction.

I was only talking about this at work yesterday (well, it started out about the car I'm looking to buy that has radar guided cruise control, lane assistance and traffic assistance and sat nav to know where to go which means I'm not needed to drive it at all).

Personally, I wouldn't trust anything other than myself when travelling in a car. Can you imagine what would happen if you were merrily driving along at 70mph and it just didn't work?

However, I have considered using an EZ-B in my car and I know a few others have too. But more for the toys and gadgets rather than to take over the fun of driving. For instance, I looked in to tapping in to the iBUS (or whatever BMW call it in their cars) if my car to pick up all of the data and use it for something but that didn't get far.

Point well taken, Rich, but I drive 100,000 lb tractor trailers for a living. After all of the stupid things that I have seen drivers do, it wouldn't take much to convince me that robots could do a better job.

Oh I don't disagree at all, robots could do a better job of some of the drivers I've seen. A cheese sandwich could do a better job than some of the drivers I've seen!..

Reminds me of that Tom cruise movie with future crime. It was required to use automated driving assistance when on the freeway because it was safer.

The Minority Report:) Although that was a freeway which physically picked up a car and the road moved if I recall correctly. It's more like iRobot or Total Recall (the original one).
