Big Question W Camera Need Expert Solution

Hi all I had posted previously about my non working can but haven t found a solution yet Apparently it s not the can but the laptop.window 7 running on it. It won t accept the device .it comes up with a code 38 error saying there s another driver or else still in the memory can t remember the exact wording ( I had posted it before) Rich had tried to help but the link to Microsoft has no answers. I called Microsoft and unless I give them $100 to May be fix the issue there s nothing they can do about. I reinstated the computer to default settiƱg hopping it would do the trick but no dice! So is there any way around this like a different cam or Bluetooth cam or a software I could download to get a driver just for the one that came w kit? Or am I screwed.I really want my bot to have eyes!lol

What driver is it saying it's using?

It should be the windows driver, at C:\windows\system32\drivers\usbvideo.sys (see the attachment)

usbvideo.zip

The only other thing I can think of is to uninstall the device in device manager, remove the device from the USB, reboot, plug in the dongle and try again with the windows USBVideo.sys driver.
