Autoposition Import/Export

I wanted to delete a couple of dozen frames to clean up the Auto Position control and created a problem. I know get the following error:

Auto Position Thread Error: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

Here is what I did.

  1. Exported all actions and frames from the Auto Position utilities.
  2. Deleted Auto Position control
  3. Created new Auto Position control
  4. Imported the actions I wanted to keep, it automatically selected the frames.
  5. Everything looks fine on the Auto Position control but I get the error when I try to run the actions.
  6. I have tried turning everything off and back on and same thing.

Questions: Is this the right use of export import? Is there a better way to delete lots of frames and actions?

You can only import Auto Position frames and actions into THE SAME Auto Position control. By creating a new Auto Position control, it is not the same.

If you wish to delete frames and actions, do so in the Auto Position control.

There should have been a message when attempting to import into a different configuration. I'll have that looked at.

DJ, thanks for the response. I will reload from backup and delete the frames one at a time.
