Arc Auto Update

Two ARC updates ago you included an option to disable automatic updating of the program. I cannot seem to find that option anywhere in arc. Can you point me in the right direction where this option is available? And I'm going to schedule and need to get this figured out by tomorrow afternoon (Thursday). Your quick attention would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

To disable automatic updates in ARC, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open ARC on your computer.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to open the settings menu.
  3. In the settings menu, look for the 'Updates' section.
  4. Within the 'Updates' section, you should find an option to disable automatic updates.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of ARC, as the location of this setting may have changed in different updates. If you are unable to find the option, or if you encounter any issues, you can refer to the support documentation on the Synthiam website for more detailed instructions or any recent changes regarding update settings:

Ugh! You told me this in a community post I made 45 minutes ago. It is wrong. I cannot find anywhere in art that has this location you mentioned. I went to the support area to get a help then All I got was you again. Please advise on how I can reach customer support?

When the new release window pops up, there’s an option to postpone forever and ever. It’s not in the settings, it’s when a new release is out.

It sounds like this is an option you’d rather have in preferences? If so and you need it immediately I can push out an update this afternoon for that.

@DJ, thanks, you're the best. Yes if you could get this added to the preference settings soon I would be internally grateful. I am up in Long Island New York right now helping a friend with his B9 robot. We've been planning this repair trip for a while and I'm scheduled to fly home to Florida tomorrow afternoon. I'm afraid if an update pops up it'll stall his robot from starting and he will not know what to do. He's kind of non-tech but loves his B9.

No prob - i'll push it out an update for you Dave. It'll be about 4 hours from now because it has to run through the QA check.

Okay! OMG! I'm a follower and customer for life now (actually I have been for a long time now, lol). Thanks so much!

I see that it's available and I downloaded this update. I see it's in the advanced tab and I've activated it. This is wonderful. Such amazing customer service.

Once more, thank you DJ.
