They have one called the Bar-2-D2. Do a google search for the plans to it.

That takes all the fun out of drinking though, unless you can't mix a drink.

Can a sensor be accurate enough to detect a spirit brand, type and age from it's smell? How about measuring the quantity of spirit? Choosing the right glass can be as important as what's in it. All of which could be achieved with QR codes on the bottles/glasses.

Another issue I can see is building something capable of separating a Boston shaker without breaking it or throwing the contents everywhere.

It would be one hell of a project to take on. For a start there are literally thousands of drink recipes out without thinking about the lesser known, concoctions.

Not saying it's a bad idea or can't be done before anyone get's their panties in a bunch, just pointing out a few of the main issues to overcome :)

READ about the E-NOSE sensor it most advance sensor made, second its hard place a code on the glass or use object recogntion if the bottle or glass is turned the other way

To measure how much acohol a force sensor in the arm measure the weight

ONE day it may replace bartenters,to mix different drinks ,just need a database

I also made a spectrometerthat can tell drinks and liquids apart, but has a small drawback it needs a clear bottle.

EZB might can some of with a code placed on the bottle ,the drawback what happens when the robot cant see the code and same with a label if its turned the other way

I do not drink. So, it is not that important to me. But, I think the sensor is neat.

I dont too,but i like the sensor and robot design

But people just just stop until its too late, lucky me i never started to drink
