Hi there, Is it possible to add servo's to the JD robot? I ask because I am missing an up/down movement for the ankles. It will make JD taller and maybe prone to fall on its face, still I would like to try it and make its gait more realistic for starters. Maybe some of you have tried it out already and know the answers. which D--pins to use for adding the servo's? Thank you. David.

Plug them into any free d ports. Use the Auto Position to add the servos and configure their positions with existing frames. manual for the Auto Position will be the most use.
Thank you very much DJ Sures, Appreciate the help. David
You bet! The Auto Position manual has a video that I published just a few days ago that will be useful
the video demonstrates how to add servos. Now, in my video im adding servos to a blank project. But the same process will apply when you add yours, just there will already be servos in the auto position.
if you have difficulty, ask me and I’ll help you out
Oh, I should add that I’m terrible at creating walking gaits haha. So don’t expect too much help from me on the animation part.
it’s like I can make a great paintbrush but can’t paint picture!
Why don't I believe you? I think you have given me enough information to try it out. Thank you.
haha - no it's true. Neither the ez-robot JD humanoid or Six hexapod walking gaits were made by me. Jeremie made the JD walking gait. And Veraj made the Six walking gait. I just made the code. I'm not very creative for some reason when making gaits haha. it's comical if you have ever seen one of my live hacks where i have tried to make a gait. There's a robotis live hack i did where i tried to make the bioloid walk, and it was a comical failure!
Maybe there is hope for me yet. Take care.
