same here, just tested, nothing works, no matter what settings still the default female voice, im on windows 7
check MELS post on female voice ,i added info on how to change female voice in WINDOWS 7 to a male voice

thanks DJ next question on using speech,what software works on teens and senior and have you tested it
also microsoft SAM DOES WORK with WINDOWS XP PRO
