You will need to buy or 3d print the missing plastic. The servos can be used. The ezb can be used. The battery, fuse and on off switch can be used. The camera can be used.

You will need to get some micro servos (4) and the eye piece.

Honestly, it would be better to get the JD at half price from Brookstone if their sale is still happening. I think it will be cheaper in the long run and you would have the parts for both bots.

You will need to buy some parts, JD head, body, feet and hands. You might need a couple of extension cables, they are cheap, so order them anyway. I would add the 4in1 Orientation Sensor, which lets JD stand up if he falls over.

You will have lots of parts left over from the 6 including a spare battery, lots of extra servor, the whole body and the camera. I would keep the servos as spares because they can burn out, but you coule probably sell the camera and body parts to aomeone here on the forum or on ebay and help fund the extra parts needed to makw a JD.

Did you get your SIX from the Brookstone sale? I need to add up the numbers, but this may actually be a way to get a discount on JD, but only by a few dollars. The parts you need are some of the more expensive bits, and there is a built in diacount to buying in the kit (building a JD juat from parts costs much more tham the JD kit)

Dave, the half price sale was only for SIX and bogo on parts.. JD and ROLI are still full price.

Gotcha, I misunderstood a previous post. If you would like us to, we could identify what the differences are.

The short answer is yes, the parts are interchangeable. Over time, you could buy the parts needed to build the JD, while leveraging the parts that you already have from the six build.

@jj68... I would recommend going through the online tutorials before Christmas morning... This will make it easier to get Six up and running so you don't waste time scrambling last minute to get something to work....
