Hello All,
Found this today. It seems that Michael Joyce, the guy who runs the b9robotbuildersclub, has designed his own 3D printer. For now it is on www.kickstarter.com. It looks like it will be a good one. Not sure how much it will cost.
I hope that the price of 3d printers will come down to where I can afford one. I really could benefit from making my own custom parts when needed.
In time they will come down in price, just like everything else. Once upon a time a laser printer was considered expensive and rarely used in the home, colour laser printers were barely used due to their cost, look now.
