Hello.
I have connected 2.5 Amp Motor controller exactly as tutorial explain. When i power on Ez-Board, a motor starts without no matter...........
If i apply power to the robot without connecting pc, i have a motor running!....... It seems impossible. Where can i find the problem?
Double check your connections and check for shorts.
If one of the signal wires is shorted to VCC, or a VCC connected where a signal should be then it will act as if the EZ-B is asking for it to be on.
Can you please explain better with other words? Scuse me, but my english is very bad and i have some difficult to understand....
What is a 'short'? What are you suggesting to do? Step by step, please.........
I know i am no good in english..... scuse me for this........
A short is when a wire or other connection is touching something that interrupts the flow of electricity. This causes the circuit to become incomplete, or short. Short circuit is the common word used.
I've watched the video and it looks like that there is not much room to work. Inspect every place that you had soldered. Check that none of them have solder touching anything they should not be touching. Follow the wires along their paths to make sure they are properly connected.
That is all of the help I can offer. I am new with robotics.
Ok, problem found. I try to explain so, if someone has the same behaviour, then, it maybe can be useful to know.
Well, the problem, .....was not a real problem. If i turn on the motor (sending pwm) and i cut off power and disconnect ezboard while the motor is still running (and pwm is on), when i power on again ezboard, pwm restart as its last status.
So, before power off ezboard or windows, it is needed to stop pwm......
I hope i have explain and you have understood.
Your explanation was understandable and helpful. Thanks.
