Wii Remote As Accelerometer For Robot

I know that other accelerometers exist for robots, but what if Wii Remotes could be used? There already is support for them on ARC, so there could be a plug-in to support it.

I'm sorry, I wasn't being to specific. I meant like an accelerometer to make JD stand up automatically when he would fall over or would make WALL-E be upset when he would fall over. Or, I guess the plug-in can already do that.

I believe DJ sent you a link that answers the question you asked. You can use the accelerometer data to determine what actions you would like to take. The WiiMote accelerometer data is set to virtual servo positions, which you could script to take action on the data - this is the same process you would take with any other accelerometer, as the data is similar.
