Importing Voices From Mary Speech

Hello! I am working on a voice for my robot, however I cant find a voice I like within the standard windows libraries. I really like the voice in Mary Speech used in MyRobotLab. Is there a way I can import one of these voices into ARC?

Here is the link to the voice demos:

Cheers!

Hi, I liked that voice as well. You can add a pretty much infinite amount of voices to Synthiam by changing the Windows voice packs. There a lot of voices you can add and select them via a control.

Perry’s got it. The robot skill for selecting voices is here: https://synthiam.com/Support/Skills/Audio/Speech-Synthesis-Settings?id=16054

it also has real-time effects for the voices. I use the effects to make my wall-e robot sound like wall-e

Thanks guys. I did add alot of voices via windows, but none are as good as MRL. Is there a tutorial for importing the mary speach voice specifically into windows? Not familiar with how the package type works (windows batch file, XML etc.)

Unfortunately, I don't know what a "Mary" voice is, or what an MRL is. The more information you can tell us, the more we can help with. Happy new year, by the way!

Sorry guys I was mostly replying to Perry as he seemed to know what I meant in my first post. I was referring to the The MARY Text-to-Speech System (MaryTTS) , found here: http://mary.dfki.de/ MRL is My Robot Lab which is software commonly used for Inmoov builders. Tih software utilizes the open source Mary Seech System. On the Mary Speech website they have packaged of their voices to download: (http://mary.dfki.de/download/index.html) But I dont know how to import these into ARC/Windows

Microsoft David sounds a lot like the Mary Speech voice if you speed it up a bit via the control. You should play with it a bit, se if you can get closer.

Your link does not open for me.

OK good idea I will give that a shot. This link should work:

However I have noticed that the page isn't very reliable and sometimes wont load.
