I don't see it in the script help so I assume there is no way to name the snapshot that is taken or change the directory? Is there a way to do this, if not could it be in the next release?

Specify where the file is saved in the Camera Control by pressing the GEAR icon.
I'll add the filename request to the list - cannot promise it will be in the next release but ill try
