OK, So the way I see this is that after you have downloaded this new release you will be prompted for either the dark or light themes before ARC starts up. This looks like a one time choice and from there on you need to customize the look of our program colors from there.
I don't see any choice to keep our current settings. At least I don't remember seeing a choice.
