I am new to the ez-b and the forums. I do not even have an ez-b yet but hoping to get one for my b-day. i have been brainstorming and thinking of which robot toy to use. I did not want to start too big (omnibot) but did not want it to be s little stupid robot. I decided to do a verbot, I noticed Dj was planing on doing one (and also noticed he does take a while ) But if anyone has done one or has any tips that would be appreciated. And if Dj was planing on starting his i could get some tips from him along the way.
wow title should be verbot my bad blush
Haha, well! I have many excuses for taking my time ...
I have two of them here too! One is totally taken apart.... waiting... waiting... for me
do you have plans where to put everything or are you going to just go for it?
I HAD AN IDEA! I was thinking get a wireless mic and use the original controller, put it in there and have a party! it would also save some space.
I don't really know what to do yet. I was thinking of making him just like Omnibot, but smaller.
Although, since I have two... Maybe I'll make them fight.
oh im jealous. omnibot but smaller would be good. What would you use to cover the front plate?
Maybe an LCD screen. I have a blue one I got from ebay.. It's pretty nice. I think it'll fit perfect
but what would go on the screen?
I haven't implemented much in ARC for LCD. So it might be a good chance to do so. Perhaps I'll allow the scripting engine to write values. Maybe write values from the range finder. Maybe a few other things like the position of servos, etc.
Just for looks
that could look good. I think i would just want to patch it up with pieces of plastic or something
