Tips For Searching The Community

Is there any way to refine the search other than selecting categories? I've noticed that adding more words e.g. Touch Path Control returns more results than Touch Path

Of course, I'm looking for more specific returns rather than more general returns

I've tried " " also words like AND to no effect

The plain text is pretty limiting and needs work. To find information about controls, there are question marks on every control next to the close button. Generally if a question about a control had been asked before, there is a tutorial or the manual is updated to reflect it. If the control you're trying to find info about hasn't any info, it's best to ask.

At least until the search is updated.

You can use Google to search the site by prefacing your search term(s) with

 site:Https://www.ez-robot.com/Community

It does a much better job when you are searching for multiple words or phrases.

Hi thetechguru

Thanks... that really helps. It does allow me to use ""

How do I mark this as you resolved my question?

You select the resolved user (tech guru in this case) during your response. You will have to respond again and say something like "thanks techguru for being so awesome" and select his user from the drop down on the screen.

However, the thread would have had to be opened as a "need assistance" thread. Since it wasn't, you can't award the answer to anyone (which is fine in this case. EZ-Robot should not be giving me store credit for teaching you a Google search method).

My bad - didn't realize it wasn't a need assistance. It's not a require assistance style question anyway... but still alan rocks
