So No Sound Sensors In Our Bots Because Servos Are To Loud...

so how do you make the bot "look" in your direction when you speak to him?

if i say something that triggers a response, how do i make the head " look at me"

I would create a voice command that says "Look at me" and then have it pan and tilt the camera until it finds an object to track

well in one of his video, he says, "right , omni bot?" and the bot looks at him and makes noises...

so i f i ask the bot to look at me i get it, make him scan...

but what if im asking a questions or just speaking a command...

me, "hey wall-e "

wall-e, turns head to me.

doesn't look like Sures bot is scanning to find him every time. almost like, he speaks and a sensor is going off....but not a sound sensor? not sure.

im using PIR sensors on either side of the wall e

if one goes off the head turns to that direction and then the body does... would be nice if he looked at a person when they spoke.

Servos are loud but you can do this to reduce noise, dynamat or use generic peel n seal from lowest.

The Robosapien V2 I have does that. It has a sound sensor in each ear. The inside has some sound deadening foam over the sensors . I think they only work when it isn't moving. :) J.W.
