Shipping

I'm tracking a shipment ordered on ez-robot.

Status is "delivery attempt failed".

Previous shipments from ez-robot were just dropped off on my porch so I don't know how this delivery would fail.

The delivery attempt was Thursday but I haven't heard anything from the shipping company.

Is this shipment headed back to China?

I'm not a representative for EZRobot, but I do work for a logistics company. UPS, FedEx, and DHL, will make multiple delivery attempts before they cancel the delivery.

If they fail to deliver and cancel further delivery attempts, usually they will take the package back to their local hub, where you may arrange pick up. The carrier's website should have a contact number (FedEx is 1800-GO-FEDEX). If you give them your tracking number, you should be able to inquire about the delivery and give them an alternate delivery time if they missed you.

Don't wait too long, though. Most carriers won't hang on to non-delivered packages for longer than a few days. International packages may be held longer, but don't quote me on that one.

Thanks,

Their contact phone number is five digits?

It's a Chinese shipping company (I think)

I'd be very shocked if your order is being delivered by a Chinese shippng company here in the US. More than likely it's one of the big three: UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

Do you still see a "Click for Tracking" link on your orders page?

Clicking on that link should take you to the carrier's website...which is where I assume you saw the "delivery attempt failed" message. ;)

FedEx contact is 1-800-463-3339 DHL contact is 1-800-225-5345 (I'm not sure EZRobot uses UPS)

I see...if you look at their "International Express" page, under the extended coverage bullet point...it states:

"Extensive coverage: The network terminals of the posts worldwide reach out to the households of hundreds of thousands of customers. Australia Post, China Postal Express & Logistics, Hong Kong Post, Japan Post, Korea Post, USPS, Royal Mail, Correos, La Poste, Singapore Post possess over 300 million delivery points, and 140,000 postal outlets. The postal network could provide secure, accurate, and fast delivery services with the widest coverage."

So, they've probably handed off the final delivery to USPS.

Its a longshot, but you could try using the USPS tracking page: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction!input.action

Enter in the tracking number you have for this package and see if that works.

Sorry I can't be more help. :D
