Robot Hands

Check out these robot hands from Custobots: http://www.custobots.com/products/robot-hands-kl01003ho Kind of expensive but they have given me ideas on how to create my own. And they are controlled with only one servo! Does anyone else have something like this?

Here is a toy on Ebay for like 8 bucks that could be modified to do basically the same thing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/21-ROBOT-HAND-toys-gifts-prizes-kids-loot-bags-game-/140490965140?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20b5ea0094

Then there is this one that is larger and cooler for 10 bucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Great-Gizmos-Kids-Labs-Robotic-Hand-CHRISTMAS-/320814137268?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab2033fb4

The only problem is they are only right hands, lol. Also the one on the custobots site doesnt look that difficult to make, maybe with some zip ties and an erector set.

That's what I was thinking, just wondering if anyone else had any ideas on construction. I threw those other options out as cheap ready to go alternatives. lol. If you come up with a design let me know. It would be cooler than a pincer type gripper.
