Hello, I'm a guy from Germany and new here in this community. I ordered the EZ-Robot Board this week and cant wait to hold in it my hand. I also have a Robonova1 and I'm interested in changing the Robonova Board with the EZ-Board. Does anyone here has done a similar "Operation" succesfully?
My first Projekt with the board will be an Omnibot 5402 that I got without Remote Controll an Batteriedoor. I want to add a Cam, and Ultrasonic-Radar.
But later I'm interested in the Robonova Platform for the Board.
reagards to all

Welcome to the fun house
I think there is a robonova project in the showcase. It shouldn't be difficult to upgrade the board to the EZ-B anyway.
As for the Omnibot 5402, you will find a wealth of information on here, it's one of the popular ones and the torso part is pretty much the same as the Omnibot 2000, Hearoid and Robbie. Nice and roomy for the upgrades inside too and you may be able to find someone with a spare battery door on here.
Just shout if you get stuck, we are a helpful bunch here and there are no stupid questions
Welcome
One week after order I hold my ez board and a 2.5a motor controller in my hand. What I miss is a little more documentation about the boards, how many volts can the motor controller handle? Whats about the both bridges on the board that are labeled with 5v, what is the 5 pin connector for, and so on. Are there PDF's or something else instead videos that brings me a detailed documentation of the hardware?
