Hello-

I noticed today in the Downloads section that there is a new version of the ARC software (2012.02.08.00)

I currently have the 2012.01.31.00 version installed. When I try to install the newer version, it says the version I have installed is newer than the new one and exits out.

Also, when I click on the "Release Notes" next to the download, it takes me to the Release Notes forum and doesn't have any documentation on "what's new". I've noticed its actually a few versions behind.

I know you all are crazy busy... Just wanted to give you a heads-up.

Sometimes Windows gets confused. You may have to manually uninstall and re-install.

We haven't announced the release differences yet :)

I have had to uninstall and reinstall the past 5 releases or so. I don't even bother trying a straight upgrade anymore.

I noticed with the new version I get what looks like a note pad icon instead of my usual cool bot icon. Also I can connect to the EZ-B but I have to change the COM port as the listed COM ports now range from COM50, COM60, COM70 and COM90. Now in my PC the COM ports dont go that high!

And finally the firmaware update does not work because you can not manually enter a COM port :(
