I'm not sure exactly what is wrong but I set up my EZ-B and connected everything via a bluetooth dongle but when I ARC and try to connect to COM11 (The EZ-B) It freezes and says could not connect to EZ-B ... Can anyone shine a little light on my problem??? Thanks, Kolton
I have been having the same problem for some time now. You can try resetting the Bluetooth adapter on the EZB by un-plugging and replugging it back in. That works sometimes for me, but I loose connection after 3 or 5 mins after that.
Hmm I tried that and it seems to be working I also go some updates for the ARC and firmware. Thanks TXT
Try connecting to com 1 it should be the lowest number EZ B needs to connect to.
I try each com port on the connect drop down box in turn I have 6 to go through!!. Until I find one that works and if you delete Linvor from your Bluetooth devices and re add it make sure you restart ARC to get the updated com port it is assigned to.
Further tips
Turn off any other Bluetooth devices nearby (putting your mobile next to your computer won't help) as the interference sometimes stops mine from connecting especially if the robot is the other side of the room
I always uninstall ARC from the control panel when DJ releases a new version and this sometimes causes a different com port to get assigned. So its best to go through the list methodically. Perhaps uninstall ARC and reinstall again in any case?
